How Does The Fuel Saver 7000-MPG Work? On Carbureted Vehicles: The accelerator doesn't need to be pushed down as far to get you down the road. On Fuel Injected Vehicles: The computer will compensate for the added vapor. For more information see our Fuel Concepts How It Works page. Simply put, here's how it works...

Will This Void My Vehicle Warranty? Answer: The Magnuson - Moss Act was passed by congress in regards to retro- fit devices. This act states, in effect, that anything added to your vehicle that does not harm the engine or transmission will not void the warranty. Local garages may not be familiar with this law so check with them. |

How Do I Adjust The Vapor Control Module? Answer: There are specific instructions regarding this. We mechanically use "The Flow Test". We simply count the number of drops per minute for 4,, 6, and 8 cylinder engines. This test takes about 5 minutes to complete. For more details please see step # 6 in the installation instructions online. |

What Happens If I Connect Into The Wrong Fuel Line? Answer: If the return fuel line is teed into on carbureted vehicles you may not have enough gas to run the unit. So, remember connect into the supply line on carbureted vehicles, and the return line on fuel injected vehicles. Also, many cars today have Schrader ports to connect into. Schrader adapters are supplied in your kit for this purpose. |
What is the Schrader Port Valve? Answer: It is a small nipple usually located on the fuel rail on Fords and Chryslers, and on the right side of GM motors. This is a gasoline bleed port used in conjunction with the Fuel Saver 7000-MPG's Schrader Hose Adapters that allows quick in-line connection splicing into the fuel line. |
When Would I Need A
Schrader Adapter? Answer: A Schrader adapter may is used on fuel injected vehicles that have a valve on the fuel rail can be used instead of the gas line tee. This adapter allow for quicker installation but is not required. Also, about 5% of vehicles now have plastic gas lines. DO NOT CUT INTO THE PLASTIC LINES. You may need to purchase special adapters for these vehicles at your local auto parts store. |

Why Do I Need a 5 Foot Hose? Answer: Through rigorous testing we have found that if the "VAPOR OUT HOSE" returning to your intake manifold from your PCV valve is less than 5' it will start reducing the mileage that the Fuel Saver 7000-MPG will give you. This standard 3/8" ID fuel line hose is not included in your kit. |
Why Replace The Oxygen Sensor? Answer: If the oxygen sensor is not working properly you will experience worse gas mileage with the Fuel Saver 7000-MPG because the computer will not adjust the injectors to compensate for the extra vapor gas being fed to the engine. Original equipment works the best, (there is a difference). |

What If I Can't or Don't Have A
P.C.V Valve To Hook To? Answer: The Fuel Saver 7000-MPG has been installed on many engines without P.C.V valves with great success including but not limited to, farm equipment, boats, muscle cars, generators, etc. To install the Fuel Saver 7000-MPG on these types of engines follow the directions below.... 1) Run the 5' vapor hose to a vacuum port on the intake manifold. This may be in the base of the carburetor, or you may need to drill and tap the manifold to fit a barb nipple. It does not necessarily need to be centered in the intake manifold. 2) Filter the fresh air entering the Fuel Saver 7000-MPG. This can be done by running a hose from the nipple on the Fuel Saver 7000-MPG, to a fabricated nipple in the air breather, or see Option 4) 3) Adjust the incoming air. Do this by installing a 1/8" Pipe valve, in the line, in step 2, or see Option 4). Leave this wide open unless you experience surging of the engine. In such a case close it until performance is optimized and there is still a swirling effect on the gas in the clear tube. (We don't want the gas just laying in the clear tube while the engine running). Option 4) The P.C.V in nipple on the Fuel Saver 7000-MPG can be removed and replaced by a 1/8" street valve, NAPA #6824 and the fitted with a small filter NAPA #3046. |

Are There Any Parts On The Fuel
Saver 7000-MPG To Wear Out? Answer: The only part which may wear down on the Fuel Saver 7000-MPG, is the gas wearing the vapor control seat down just by the gas passing over it after several years. When and if this should occur, simply close the vapor control adjustment a 1/16". |
Are Any Parts Breakable? Answer: Since the Fuel Saver 7000-MPG is a very sturdy all metal design with no moving parts, it is highly unlikely that any of the parts will break. |

How Often Do I Need To Empty The
Secondary Vaporizer Chamber? Answer: Due to potential water contaminates in the fuel it may be necessary to empty these contaminates in the Secondary Vaporizer Chamber periodically. Make sure you dispose of them according to Federal and State EPA laws. It is recommended that you check it every 3000 to 5000 miles or with each oil change and empty as necessary. |
What Happens If I Need To Empty The
Secondary Vaporizer Chamber? Answer: Should the Secondary Vaporization become full of moisture the liquid gas may not vaporize efficiently in that chamber. Typically this is a sign that you have adjusted the Fuel Saver 7000's VAPOR CONTROL screw too rich. You may notice moisture seeping out the Oxygen Intake Vacuum hole. If you notice this, simply unscrew the Secondary Vaporization Chamber and dispose of the contents according to Federal and State EPA laws. |
What Is In The Secondary Vaporizer Chamber? Answer: The Secondary Vaporization Chamber is designed to encapsulate any excess gasoline that continues to flow after the engine is turned off due to back pressure. Upon starting your engine, the vacuum inside the chamber along with the engine compartment heat vaporizes the gas and reintroduces the gas vapor into the engine. This is the reason you don't need the Schrader Solenoid Valve kit. |

Does It Work With Other Fuel Savers? Answer: The Fuel Saver 7000-MPG will work great with other fuel saving products such as magnets, hydro-systems, platinum-system, tornado, high performance ignition systems, etc. If a hydro or platinum units are used, mount these between the Fuel Saver 7000-MPG and the intake manifold. |
